Old iron bridge closed - works on Harbour Office road. Vehicle access is via KGVMW

Will be working to reinforce the shoreline and protect the edge of the road.
Some piling in place.
The digger is used as a small crane to move sheet steel piles...

...preparing an access ramp down to the southern pillars.

Piling continues, just south of the Harbour Office.
Further north, the piles are already in place.
For strength, each pile interlocks with its neighbours.
Checking how far below road level the top of the piling is.
More north end shuttering work.
