Harbour Office road has been tarmaced north of the concrete part.

More north end pipe pushing...
Pipes are joined together by collars
On the bridge deck, men stand by to ease the pipes through if necessary.
NB: new concrete mould set up east of the pipes.

Roller compacts a new working surface
The first pipes appear at south end. And more moulds and shuttering appear.
Note the four areas of extra reinforcing over the heads of the pillars.
North end keeps pushing pipes...
Sat 24th Mar
All eight pipes are now through the bridge structure
Now that Harbour Office road is properly surfaced, traffic can again use the old iron bridge to access North Quay...
The shuttering and moulds are being fitted to south end...

More south end shuttering...
Tue 27th Mar
South end shuttering nearly complete, encasing pipes as well.
...just this corner to sort out.
More north end infill
Notice the north end shuttering is not complete - but concrete pouring starts early tomorrow!
